As a core member of the Peel Says No to Violence Alliance, Choyces have helped guide the research undertaken for the project, contributed to the development of the Alliance and continue to raise awareness and understanding of DFV as well as supporting those who have experienced it.
Choyces fervently believe that when young people feel valued by society, the whole world benefits. That feeling of self-worth that begins deep inside us, that must be nurtured and raised and supported until it is a self-sustaining truth, makes young people feel better about themselves. And when you feel better about yourself, you feel better about others. And when individuals act this way together, then whole communities begin to act this way. And when that happens, the whole world changes.
For the better.
WSNTV is a community project to raise awareness, improve understanding, and take action to prevent family and domestic violence in the Peel region.
